Let it be known that on the 18th of Kythorn, these members of the Guild:
- Eoana Fletcher
Wren Bluefeather (Guildmaster)
Hudol Rhyfelwr (Blademaster)
Ivar Farranson
- Fyrr (surname unknown at this time)
Let it be known these facts:
- •Journeyman Eoana did suggest that the appearance of a fiend meant greater troubles ahead.
•Guildmaster Bluefeather dismissed her concern, suggesting that E was 'too prudent'.
•Blademaster Rhyfelwr dismissed her concern, thinking her merely frightened and trusting the present
members to be a 'good group', capable of handling any threats ahead.
•Journeyman Ivar Farranson heard both the dismissal from GM Bluefeather and the order to 'press on'
from BM Rhyfelwr.
•Journeyman F helped dispatch the fiend, citing that it 'went down easy enough' and shared in the
others' interest to why the fiend was in Yintros to begin with. He also saw no reason to retreat.
•It was at this time that Fyrr (NGM) entered the 'Altar Room', and, to quote BM R, 'got weird', running
ahead, soliciting GM B to 'chew him out' for his endangerment of the others.
•The party split, with GM B and BM R running after the NGM, leaving behind the two Journeymen.
•NGM is ambushed as he attempts to leave, denying GM B's authority.
•Journeymen I and E join the battle, however, another fiend appears along with many beetles,
blocking the exits of retreat.
- •Journeyman Farranson was grievously wounded as he sought to aid GM Bluefeather.
- •Advice from a Guildmember was ignored and dismissed, while her personal character was unfairly
judged as 'too prudent' and cowardly for such advice.
•There was no scout, leading the group to enter above-average danger.
•GM B has expressed her original doubt of BM R's experience with demons at that time.
•GM B also expressed that there was no cooperation between leaders.
•BM R has expressed that GM B 'lost her cool' upon being challenged.
•All Guild members present has expressed a concern that there was no organization and that the party
split.
•All Guild members present has expressed an opinion that the NGM Fyrr's disregard for caution and
authority was the initial cause of the final results (i.e. Guild endangerment, party collapse, and
Journeyman F's injury).
- •What is the proper procedure upon the appearance of fiends?
•What is the proper procedure upon a Non-Guild Member's decision to deny the present authority and
endanger/possibly endanger themselves and/or the Guild Members present?
•Does the Blademaster (and other such officers) have the right to 'Situational Authority' if the
Guildmaster reacts irrationally during an excursion?
Upon reviewing the above information, it is my [MD Madog Millhouse] observation that further education with Guildmembers is required as well as a separate education with Officers and GM. To ensure that future injury to a Guildmember is nullified, a discussion needs to be opened about the handling of above Inquiries and Concerns.
- •At the time of this report's entry, the NGM known as Fyrr was found dead within the Rat Hills. No foul
play is suspected.
•Journeyman Farranson has healed of his wounds and has resumed active duty.
