Loot

Post by Zelknolf »

A thread for loot-related things in this group.

Particularly, if we need to redistribute loot out of game, or if I've completely forgotten that you dragged one of my weighted loot tokens home and I didn't turn it into real items.

I had a "weighted loot" token from the first session -- but as far as I know it was supposed to represent one of the kidnap victims we saved. I OOC destroyed the token in a campfire.

Oh, yeah, three such tokens were given out as standins for recovered children. I've been meaning to tool up some tokens for carrying people around, because that manages to come up all the time (granted, often it's carrying a dead PC, which comes with its own token). I'll probably use my example on BG (there's totally a static quest where you can get a kidnapping victim killed, and have to recover her body) and modify into a few common copies.

Anyhow, the other two can be campfired. They were just there to make sure that carrying a little one was being handled correctly re: encumberance.

Value: Presently Unknown

Special

Rod of Death -- a Mace that has 5 charges Inflict minor Wounds -- value 80 GP

TOTAL VALUE: 3871 / 6 = 645 each (with Mick and Rumple each getting half of one share). This assumes no share for the captain. Not sure if he gets one.

So if we sell it all that is our share each. That does not include the potions which need to be ID'd and I assume we would not sell, or 155GP which I think should go to buying another wand to heal the group.

As I said post here if you want something in particular. The value of whatever you claim will be deducted from your share.

Shane would claim the following:

50 Throwing Axes
Boots of MS +1
Belt of Climbing +1
Ring of Light
Cloak Hide +1

We should discuss the scrolls as well. in a few levels Shane will have enough UMD to use most low level scrolls successfully. These aren't great though (with a few exceptions) so we could just sell them.

Yusef already got his share, we'll say. He took Nester's sword, which was worth the customary double share for the captain.

Sweets will take:

The divine scrolls
Chain shirt
Helm v. Fear

Also went through some personal healing scrolls on folks. The LV wand was a party saver btw! We need to invest in a clw wand as well.
Need to discuss contributions for public healing.

Zelk:

It appears that the loot you spawned in not customizable using the tailor. I tried to change the appearance of some boots and a cloak, and although the UI says that the appearance is changing there is no actual change in appearance visible on the screen.

If I don't hear from anyone else by tomorrow I will sell off those items other than consumables that have not been claimed. This is largely because my PC is currently encumbered by all of this stuff. We can tally shares later. So claim it now or lose it.

Scrolls and wands will likely be used on the group. If we find more it would be nice if Sweets doesnt end up owing money because we found a 750pg clw wand.

I will hang on to all scrolls and I will also hang on to any +1 ability and save items that don't significantly weigh me down. Will give folks more time to decide. In the meantime I will sell the rest of the stuff.

Sweets sold off the loot from the last session. I believe we only had 4 survivors? Split 4 ways comes out to 512gp each. Sweets would ask if folks agree we invest in a cure light wounds or a lesser vigor wand for about 750gp.

About 300gp each + a wand floating around the party sounds fine.
