Got bored of it rather quickly, a TCG just seems a thing where the "new Blizzard" formula ("Take a genre, polish it and dumb it down to the least common denominator to get mass appeal!") is decidedly misplaced, as those games live off the complexity of their metagame and the impenetrable jungle of their card volume.

If you ever troll the EU realms (or Blizz consolidates their server architecture if they feel they milked enough money from their prehistoric setup) we should defo exchange battletags though.

I really wish they would do this. I understand the Euro/US split for games themselves since you are better off playing on servers that are geographically closer but I really can't understand why the battle.net architecture needs to be split along the same lines. It's moronic.

I think it's less moronic than simply ancient - remember that the set-up stems from the time when the dinosaurs roaming the earth only had cell phones without smarts. I have no idea why they cannot unjumble it now, but perhaps they took some legacy decision that makes it more complicated than we know and that even they now rue.

That pesky speed of light limit is a bitch to overcome. If you want low latency, you need your servers to be close. Since Battlenet already caters for Diablo and Starcraft (low latnecy), there is no reason to duplicate the infrastructure for Hearthstone.

You do, but they already let you choose which region you want to play on when you launch the game (apart from WoW). The fact that the Battle.net friends list is still segregated by region just feels archaic.

Sorry, the game is too RNG-based, even for a card game that depends on draws. Not enough control over what you can draw and too many power-creeps to keep up with.

Yes, I just play because it's...fun.
I don't care if I win all that much.
Plus collecting cards, and running fun combos really. But I understaaaaaaaaand.
Just regularly trying to find others who play since some quests that allow me to gain more gold to buy new packs are quests that involve watching a friend playing, or challenging a friend. And there's lately very few of my current friends' list online

Anyone have any Golden Heroes?
(500 wins in Ranked play in HearthStone)

I have 1214 druid wins...

....and 405 Shaman wins... working on those last 95 to get a Golden Shaman hero.
