Got it. I was in the Kickstarter. I didn't have time to check it yesterday evening as the download was quite long.

It plays a bit like a cross between planescape:torment and bg2.

Combat system takes a little getting used to (the split between health and endurance) but I have enjoyed it quite a bit so far (around 6 hours in). Playing rogue, quite fun at the moment.

One thing of note. A lot of the mechanics would transition real easy into 3.5/4th/5th ed dnd/pathfinder...

If I convert anything to 5e it would be Mass Effect... Sadly no time :cry:

Played and finished. Cool story, I guess. One grievance. Missed a fair bit of side-content in the third act by responding to the sense of urgency the game creates. Side-quests ignored in favor of pursuit of the BBEG.

I'd have to say I prefer the scope and pacing of BG1, the companions and banter of BG2, and the story/mechanics of POE. If only they could combine all three.

I'm a hard one to please, it seems.

Clearly the only option is to figure out how to pay some full-time developers to make your ideal game.

I'll give you $5, and not a penny more, gypsy.

Well, OK... I guess you get what you pay for. Here's the source for your game--

Code: Select all

int main() { cout << "A winner is you!"; return 0; }
