So, on the 22nd, Me and four others are heading out on a motorcycle vacation to the Alps. We're going to go through Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Lichtenstein. I've been delegated two days to plan sights and other activities. Now, I've never been to the Alps, nor have I been on a motorcycle vacation, so I really don't know what to look for. If anyone here has any ideas concerning the locations below, please feel free to chime in.

26/6 - Zernez > Merano > Vipiteno
28/6 - Mayrhofen > Mittersill > Lienz

You must look for women of poor judgment. To keep your back warm.

Deer. Look out for deer. Or Ronans in deer suits with coils of piano wire.

At the moment, I am checking out Trip Advisor for inspiration. But that just lists the tourist attractions.

Its "Kieler Woche" on the 23rd. If you ever want to visit Kiel, the world's biggest sailing event and general excuse for crowds, music and drink is a good opportunity. Im in Kiel on the 23rd and in Hamburg on the 7th, so let me know if you need a guide.

Kloster Andechs (Andechs monastery), obviously. Great monastery beer and decent food, just usually a little full: http://www.andechs.de/nc/en.html

I'd say the Urthaler Hof is also worth a visit - it doesn't have self-brewed beer, but the food is more artisanal than in Andechs. Try the hind leg of pork - and be sure to share the portion among two of you, or you'll not fit on your bikes afterwards anymore: http://www.urthalerhof.de/

If you have the time, plot your route south of Munich past the Tegernsee too. Lovely vistas, and maybe stop for cake & coffee at the Hotel Bachmair am See. Its glory days are past (last millenium I chatted with the German national footie team there), but it's still a name: http://www.bachmair.de/
