Yeah, this...

This also! Coupled with being too lazy to move PMs to the save folder in any meaningful amounts.

My oldest non-deleted stuff is from 2004, with Donrath summoning folks for adventuar.

Now, I wonder if we couldn't just post our first still present sent message...

I'm at 747 posts. The first one is apparently a response from RangerDeWood about the OAS server from Feb 09 2006:
RangerDeWood wrote:Feel free to catch any OAS DM when they're on. Their timeslots are listed in the OAS Forum. If you have trouble finding one, let me know.
I few posts later there's this from Dergon:
dergon darkhelm wrote:Hey !

Saw your post!

Glad to see you in ALFA

Malcer, my PC, runs mostly in TLR and Waterdeep. Waterdeep is more of a "city of intrigue and powerplay" while TLR is more action oriented gaming similar to ES ( goblins pinning in the townfolk etc etc)

Hope to see you soon.
Apparently it was the Derg who head hunted me from a server called ES. I have vague memories of that one, I think there was a quest where you had to get an 'ornery bull' into a pen, a great PC killer I believe. What was ES, does anyone remember?

By the way, thanks Dergon!

Hillarious... my first pm from Oct 2004 is from a teenaged BHM telling me to keep my character alive (this was during his very short tenure as a DM back then). I could tell a story about his noobery back then that would embarrass the hell out of him, but will refrain here. :)

I'm sure people have similar stuff on me. ;)

Reread some fun PMs from Misty and Ducklings from back in the day too... jeez, the memories.

Wasnt there an Earthspurs way back in early ALFA that got into a tif with Albereth then left? I think there was. I think the HDM was called Thorin (not our current Thorin). That was back when Albereth was thought of as supreme dictator but each server was more like its own little fiefdom.
