Buy an ALFA volunteer a pint!

So while it's pouring rain today in Paris I pop in to this pub called Frog & Rosbif. It's not much, a chian with pints of their own brew and some mediocre pub fare... BUT....
I see they have this thing called TEXTOPINT, where you can go online and buy someone a drink remotely.
I notice that there's a branch of this pub in Tolousse, FR and think "Hey! I should buy Hialmar a pint!"
So..... maybe this can be a thing
If you want a pint, Hialmar, PM me your info and there will be 56cl (euro units... people tell me that's a "pint") of beer heading your way!

That's an awesome idea!
But holy shit... beers are expensive in France! I could almost send you half a dozen for that price, not including postage. Are all beers that expensive (hence I'll be crossing off France as a place to visit), or are these just bloody nice?

This city is taking 20 euro notes out of my wallet faster than I replace them from the bank machine. It is indeed that pricey.

No, beers are not that expensive in France.
But Paris is different... everything is expensive there.
I know the Frog&Rosbif pub in Toulouse. Beers are quite good there.
But if it costs you 6 € to send me a beer then they are trying to rob you...
