I enjoyed playing with him and wished I'd have known him better. I'm very sad at his loss, he was a good guy and will be missed :( .

Wow. I was thinking about him recently. How he hadnt had the opportunity yet to rub it in that he correctly predicted an NFC West Superbowl win. Such awful news.

I guess all I can say is condolences to his friends and family.

Very sad news. So sad he is gone as he was all that was said about him above. I played very many games with him, his playtimes were erratic like mine, but when he was on, he would usually send me tells to "try and meet up with Bu" somewhere for those tree-hugging several-hours-long slow talking RP meet up sessions that not many have the patience for anymore... save a few. :( Not that those RP sessions are important - just sharing that he was a good guy. They were always the best when no one else was around. Rest in peace Nuran, you will be missed. :(

Sad tidings indeed. It is always tragic when young people die. I recognise the name but am not sure I ever played with him. What are some examples of his characters?

Wishing those near to him all the best. Sail on, fellow traveller.

He also played Nuran in nwn1 and Navi in Exodus. He hada longlived druid called Andumien on a non alfa nwn1 server and he would roll that pc on beta servers here from time to time. So many different pcs, he was an incredible rper.

Remember back in Shadowdale when we were rping at that wizards shop and he pretended to rip up the books?

Always will remember fondly of that... One of my most memorable experiences, ever.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

When I open up my irc, there is an ancient log of a few hours that shows up, from before I learned how to operate the program. Part of that log was Nuran and a few others talking about porn on the internet, and Tiffany Thiesson pictures from FHM. I realized I hadn't seen his name about since I got back to playing in ALFA, and looked him up thus finding this thread. This was very shocking to find.

I cannot say that anything in ALFA has made me cry this much before. I didn't know he was gone, and its' a real loss. He was one of my first friends made in ALFA, and I've been missing him and wishing he would come back. I really am sorry for all who have lost someone who made our lives a little brighter. And I really am sorry that his girl lost him that way as well. As it was said earlier in the thread, it is very true that anyone who played with him for any length of time could tell he was crazy about her.

I will miss him even more now, and I am sorry if this brings back pain for anyone. I just don't think it's possible to say too much, how much of a loss he is to the community.
I doubt, therefore; I might be
Calil - Elf maid depicted in profile picture.
Bellie - Small woman from Lowhill with big attitude - see below
