My wife and I very sad to hear this as we are long time fan of her books. I actually met her in 1978 when she signed White Dragon paperback for me (riding down in a lift at a Sci-Fi convention in Birmingham, even though she could have blown me off). My wife met her some years later in Waterstones in Peterborough and her shelves in our bedroom are packed with her work.

While I have not read many of her books, I have read a few, and they were very good. Quite sad news indeed.
