LANCEBOARD TOURNAMENT & PRIZES Thursday June 18th
Posted: Sat May 30, 2020 3:07 am
*Posted in the Safe Haven Inn and the Main Hall of the Adventurer's Guild is an invitation for the Adventuring community to compete in a game of skill and strategy in an effort to raise funds for the House of Heroes and win prizes.
OOC:
THURSDAY JUNE 18th 9PM EASTERN
Anyone interested in having one or more of their Characters participate, please post below with the name of your character or Characters so I can gauge interest and begin building the bracket.
I will do my best to make my Character Xandos Klaxxan available to collect entry fees and facilitate the matches.
The matches will be determined with the roll of a 1d6 + Intelligence Modifier + Wisdom Modifier between contestants, best of 2 out of 3 wins the match and moves on in the bracket.
This is a simple mechanic intended to involve some element of chance because D&D, while also representing Chess/Lanceboard is game that leaves little to chance.
Ideally Entry Fees can be collected in the next week, and then we can get to seeing who the winners and losers are in the days to follow.
My goal here is to run a player generated contest that can involve anyone interested and will not require the DMs to lift a finger.
If this is successful I intend to have Team Red organize similar competitive events in the future.
THURSDAY JUNE 18th will be the date of the Tournament
