Charon's Desert Adventures aka "Oceans 11"

Post by Cleasor »

I would like to schedule the Ayergo DM'd session to case Charon's Desert Adventures (CDA) building for 12:00 pm EST, March 15, The Ides of March ("Et tu, Brute?"). For planning purposes, these were the proposed teams:
Team 1 "The Detectives" Dror, Dorian and Wyk. Their job is to enter and search the CDA building; locate and obtain evidence of Zhentarim activities; exit without detection.
Team 2 "The Deception" Sarenna. Her job is to lure CDA employees away from the building.
Team 3 "The Dispatchers" Cornelius and Laird. Their job is to determine if the CDA employees whom Sarenna lured away from the business are really Zhentarim. If so, dispatch them.

So, please respond to whether you can make this date.

Others such as Brimsar and Scikick have shown interest in joining. You're welcome to do so but get in game first with preferably Cornelius to be brought into the know. Jed is already aware of Cornelius' troubles with the Zhents. I can't remember whether Anariolas was ever informed.

Family St Patrick's Day celebration will take Wyk's player away on the 15th. RL is the real dagger in my back. Beware the ides of March indeed.
Current NWN1 PCs: Cyrus Thelvair, Castien Miracaryn, Yargrim Goldbrew.

When asked about what happened to the crew scouting the interior of the compound Dror offers the following:
Dror wrote:Three of us snuck over behind the counter of 'at Zhent fella. Got past a doorway where we got ta a small hallway filled with a buncha junk -- statues and crates and that sorta stuff.

There were some stairs goin' to a basement we hopped down -- and once we got there the dang'd place started seemin' real spooky:

Got real cold an' dusty -- the walls were made a some dark-lookin' stone. We popped open another door an' there was a menacin' throne an' altar right in front of us -- surrounded by statues of gargoyles an' some gold and treasures right on the floor by the altar. Had two doors from this room -- one on the left an' one one the right.

We didn't want none trouble 'ere so we kinda jus' tried to sneak through an' go elsewhere -- first door on the left we picked had a large eatin'-table and buncha huge zombies fellars surroundin' it there.

We turned quick right back 'round to try the right door an' then those gargoyle statues turned right t'life! So we jus' bailed an' ran as quick as we could.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Cornelius would approach Sarenna to contact Danilo at Olamn College to make contact with the Harpers. We would then pass on what we discovered at Charon's Desert Adventures (Dror's report above).
