Adventurer’s Guild Charter (revised edition)

Mission Statement

The Adventurer's Guild of Waterdeep is an Organization created to provide training and education to Adventurers so they may then move forward in their Adventuring careers as competent , capable, and responsible individuals. The Adventurer's Guild works to provide all members training and experience in surviving dangerous environments, the value of teamwork, threat assessment , tactical skills, as well individual personal development.
As an organization, it is the priority of the Guild that it's members use their Skills and abilities to serve the Community,the city and each other.
To Dare and beware, for the greater good.


Membership

All applicants will be interviewed and assessed by the Guild master or Assistant Guild Master to determine capability , compatibility and suitability for a place within the Guild. Those deemed unsuitable or incompatible will be asked to leave.

Roles

Apprentices

Accepted Members will be considered Apprentices until such a time that they have proven themselves proficient in a variety of skills and tactics and proven themselves a capable and responsible members of the team. Apprentices are not required to pay Guild Dues, Fees, or Expenses. Apprentices will be tasked by officers with quests and assignments. Fulfilling such tasks will go toward training and advancement.

Journeymen

When an apprentice has proven themselves capable, they will be promoted to Journeyman.

They are expected to show comprehensive understanding of teamwork and proficiency in within their chosen field of expertise be it Martial, Magical, reconnaissance, field craft, or craftsmanship. Journeymen will be expected to pay monthly Guild Dues of one hundred waterhavian dragons per month or provide service to The Guild such as crafting Arms, Armor, and Consumables for the membership to make use of while working to serve the cause of aiding the greater community of the Lord's Alliance. In addition, all Journeymen are required to maintain the standard of conduct established during their time as apprentices and set an example of both service and aptitude that reflects favorably on the organization.

Guild Officers

The Guild Master/mistress
The Guild Master/ mistress is an elected position voted upon by all the current Adventurer's Guild Journeymen and Officers. The one who receives the majority of the votes will hold the position of Guild Leader until such a time as they can no longer serve in such a position, or the membership calls for the election of a new leader.

It is the responsibility of the Guild Master / mistress to serve as the public face of the Guild, provide direction and guidance to the Guild, oversee the Guild stores and finances, approve of the acceptance of potential new members and revoke the membership of those who prove unable to maintain the standards set out in the charter, and using their judgment to see that the members are properly equipped and prepared for their responsibilities. The Guild master/ mistress is also responsible for addressing the concerns of the Guild members in a subjective manner.

Assistant Guild Master
Assistant to the Guild master, aids in daily tasks , administration of assignments and individual lessons, gear and equipment and addresses member concerns impartially. Is also responsible for accepting applications and interviewing of new members. Responsible for making recommendations on member advancement.

Blademaster. - Hudol Rhyfelwr
The blademaster is the position held by the Guild's most capable warrior. The Blademaster is responsible for providing martial training and education to the membership and taking the frontline in battle.

Loremaster - unassigned

The lore master is responsible for intelligence, research, history and literary education of

Scoutmaster - Asher Vontio
Responsible for scouting, recon, surveillance, instruction in stealth and camouflage and subtlety.
