Let it be known that a dreaded Purple Worm has been seen attacking caravans on the Long Road between Rassalantar and Amphail. Travelers are urged to use extreme caution and carry with them a small dagger or other slicing implement to escape the inside of the creature if swallowed.

A reward of 10000 gold is offered for proof of slaying the creature.

I recommend that only very high level and substantially buffed PCs give in to the lure of this very enticing bit of cheese.

That said, from some testing I helped with the Purple Worms are Ayergo's coolest creation yet.

Keryn, Vale, Aglorus, Bran and Cornelius report to the City Watch in the North Ward that the worm has indeed been slain. Caravaners should no longer fear this threat. They presented a section of the worm, some of its tail poison, and the location of the carcass. Many wolves and worgs were still about the Long Road so proper precautions and preparations should be taken against that menace.
