Oh, and subrace changes - specifically our wonky post-login stat changes that screw Sun/Drow Wizards and cheat Wild Elfs with free skill points. @Ayergo - any chance on getting the Arelith subraces implemented?

I am not Ayergo's spokes person by any stretch of the imagination, though from my limited understanding the ALFA Haks are sort of a mess and Ayergo is working with some other members of the NWN community like Symphony to get a better handle on them. In addition to that Beamdog is working on some new systems to implement the way servers implement HAKs and autoload them for Players.

My best guess is it will be a long while before any changes to the Haks are made, but eventually the Haks will stop being a gordian knot, and when that day comes picking and pulling from other communities might become a relatively easily implemented thing.

Once Symphony is done doing a review I'll ask about getting some of the Aerlith stuff.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

this!

I already stepped way beyond my own means offering Rick that I would build an entire Orc settlement, deep in the Daggerford woods, where full-race Orc PCs could be created, cross faction from non-orc PC races (so would by default appear as hostile), as a bit of a change for people who might want to try a race on the "other side"..... but i believe it was too much of a venture at that time to pursue. The premise was it would be so far from civilization, that the dangers between it and any civilized nation on server would make it suicide to even attempt to reach on foot. And that later on, it might be a real bit of fun if any of those PCs ever did make the trek and met up. :)

carry on!

Skullport monster races would be the bombity though.

I could give a shit about monster races. I'm hoping for actually working PC races. Sun Elves (and Drow) Wiz loose couple spell slots every login (or crash). Wild Elves get free skill points. Plenty of other issues.

Great news on the knot Ayergo. Glad you're getting help.

Ayergo has offered work arounds for people who wanted to have their toons not have jacked up subraces, but you’d have to schedule some time with him to create the PC.

I’ve never played on Aerelith, so I’ve just been beaten down into accepting hat I just lose a spell when I log. I’ll agree it’d be nice if I didn’t though.
Currently laying the smackdown on Faerun as: Keryn Tel'Jora, who is XXX-TREME!!!.
Currently explaining the meaninglessness of it all as Vizian Nazyr.
Currently pointing out all other characters' shortcomings as Stephen the Archer.

You didn't answer my question, Fionn.

How's the hair?

Shoulder length as usual. Less purple in it as I'm lazy this year.
