Golem/Elemental Crafting now in!
I have completed crafting of golems!
Right now there are only two, the guardgoyle and fire elemental. Almost all require the feat "Craft Wand" which is used as a placeholder for "craft wondrous item", though theoretically harper crafting ability will work as well if anyone goes that route.
You need to get the recipe book for a golem you want to make, and it includes the ingredients, XP, Gold, and caster levels that you need in it. Just put those items on the bench, use the book on it, and Voila! You have created your creature!
I've bumped the number of henchmen you can have to 5, so you guys can assemble your own little army. I'm also considering hiring henchmen based on Charisma scores for my bards.

There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Alora likes the idea of five henchmen.
....to carry her around in a palanquin.

Let's not replace PCs with henchmen, Alora has at least one PC willing to shoulder that palanquin.

Re: Golem/Elemental Crafting now in!
I would have said that the increase in magic items being handed out (spell uses per day are the ones I am thinking of) actually increases rogue and fighter utility as they are less reliant on spell casters now?

I agree with Wild Wombat.
It would be nice if Fighters had access to something like Heavy Armor, or if Rogues could better pick and choose their battles with Stealth or had access to better loot through their skills, or even a means to use traps to weaken or defeat enemies.

Re: Golem/Elemental Crafting now in!
I was kidding ... sort of.
All melee PCs are much more likely to get killed than the ones that hang back. If you do not agree with that statement then stop reading: nothing else I write will make sense to you.
What I wrote is especially true of the pure fighter types like Kalo and Arryn (RIP). They are expected to always be the tip of the spear. They are fighters, after all. They are very much dependent on the support of the spell casters behind them, but know that the support troops could easily decide to cut and run to save their own lives. Nothing against the support, but self-preservation kicks in. (Unless the PC is played by OGR or Rumple ... they live by an incomprehensible set of rules!)
Rogues are not as bad off. They are actually the antenna sticking out from the tip of the spear, so their decision is pretty much made for them: if they are spotted they run. If they are not, they report back. However, my experience is that rogues get in trouble when in a group. Perhaps it is because I am a very conservative player, but I do not get in trouble alone because my rule is simple: if something of equal or greater power spots Murgen, he bails. But the group does whatever the" weakest" link wants to do. That is when my rogues get in trouble!
Anyway, these are just thoughts. Yes, it does seem that the fighters and rogues are getting a bit short changed.
However - and believe me - I am not going to complain about goodies. Murgen actually has had to give some back because he was "punching above his weight," a statement that I had to agree with (although it was difficult to have the items nerfed).
Anyway, my statement was meant to be thought and debate provoking, nothing more.
Oh, and ImStrokerAce is the MASTER of trap use. Me, I just collect them and never actually use them. Stupid really!
Oh and Rumple: you know damn well that when I said fighters, I meant melee PCs. Jackass!

Or the XP for disarming traps?

On another note, how about some axes and hammers that have some of the properties that longswords available at the better merchants have? Dorfs FTW!

Also, fwiw, golems are crazy expensive. Like totes cray.
