With the new appraise system, it seems that returning to the same vendor cuts their Maxbuy price in half (exiting the shop screen, then restarting convo). Seems to be the same from all vendors i've tried it with.

Need more details. Is this continuous? I.e. it halves until nothing?

Are you certain you didn't win the persuade roll the first time?

Got it, thanks. The doubled max buy win is only applicable for that shopping session. This is to avoid other people mooching off your persuade roll.

So to clarify, 1 shopping session per store per day at full maxbuy. It’s halved thereafter until midnight in game, at which point it resets and you get a new roll?

Also I’m surprised to learn that my roll could affect another player. Is it because multiple players can access the merchant at the same time? If so, would there be a way of locking out other players. I think that would be preferable to reducing maxbuy for the rest of the day.

Yup, its crazy. Maybe some way to lock them out but it'd be complicated.

Stat damage from undead in CoC cannot be removed by restoration potion or lessor Resto potions.. Can only be removed by log out and back in.

Yeah that's a known issue for a while, leftover from our crappy subrace system. Basically I need to root the spell code out of the haks, get rid of the insane subrace stuff, then put it back.
