OOC - For the new upcoming PC's....Since it seems many of Kalo's normal venturing partners may have been slain, he has posted this. I don't see Kalo as a man who would go out actively seeking novice adventurers to help, though he would listen to those seeking to hire him. Also, this would make a good RP intro for new allies.

Guide or escort on expeditions to dangerous areas in and around Waterdeep. Also, will take work involving travel north, south, or east.
Will work as vanguard below City or protection against magic wielders on condition of:
Any arcane or divine wards be made available as wards.
No work that does not comply with Waterdeep Laws.
No work that involves employment for or by: Dark cults, fell priests, sinister groups, black magics, necromancers, undead, humanoids, etc, etc.
No hunting of rust monsters. If you wish to kill one, you are on your own.
