Disaster north of Daggerford... The Shrine was attacked.
The Guardians sent from Misty Forest slain.
All that was left upon the desecrated Altar was a note. I had to destroy a flaming animated axe which sliced through my Dire Bear like butter.
....Lady Arebeth... It appears some... one... has taken her. At least from the note it is implied she still lives... taken... by it or he? who killed these elves and desecrated the Altar.
I must gather allies and end this threat before it decides revenge and leaving the Keep again is in its best interest...
Investigations lead me to the Church of Torm among the Triad Fortress and all the way to the remote town of Bow Shot.
It was at Bow Shot, I found Carolina's research and work centuries ago that were thankfully successful, although I am sad she will not witness her success come to fruition. I have gathered her rare creations in the form of 6 amulets of protection that will allow myself and up to 5 others pass the great ward blocking my entrance into the Keep on the Ardeep river. I only hope it is not too late and that Lady Arebeth has not befallen any fate much worse than her capture.
So far if the word of my companions holds, I will pass to each of the following the protective necklaces... Igneous, Arryn, Kalo... Murgen perhaps may join, and if not there remains two more... mayhaps Trailyn will aid me? Even Jackman had shown some interest... at the mention of possible wealth and a maiden in need of saving... but... I fear the ward to be so vicious that I will nay risk the skins of more than just the 6... as too many have warned the fate of any who try to pass the ward unprotected is surely doomed eternal....
A quiet solitary ceremony held by Toliv within the desecrated shrine to Solonor Thelandira is performed.
He vows once again to save Lady Arebeth from Lord Dystrom or whoever or whatever has captured her within the ancient keep, and if it is too late, that he will take her place at the shrine until it is his time to take the long walk, as head priest...
Meditating for hours, a bath of warmth flows over him as The Huntlord accepts his unspoken plea to become a high priest of his church...
The boon to revive the fallen, once so near his grasp but out of reach, becomes clear to him now, he feels pleased he may revive his fallen comrades should they perish...
