Craft Trap Feat

Does it work in ALFA?
Current PC: Alora Tuffet-Hopper, foul-mouthed and irreverent bard and Meat, dwarven cleric who likes to punch himself in the face.

I believe it’s set up to use skill points, not the feat.
Currently laying the smackdown on Faerun as: Keryn Tel'Jora, who is XXX-TREME!!!.
Currently explaining the meaninglessness of it all as Vizian Nazyr.
Currently pointing out all other characters' shortcomings as Stephen the Archer.

Correct!

It is skill based, just like main game with two differences:

1) I've changed the ingredients. So far its Fire Breath Potions for fire traps and scaladar tails for electrical traps.
2) If you fail, trap goes off on you.

You need higher skill and more parts for better traps.

Really?

When I try to activate it in the radial menu, I get a popup informing me that trap crafting isn't available in ALFA.

Ah, you have to do it from a trap workbench. Right now the only one is in the thieve's guild I think. I'm still testing this whole thing as I don't have much script space until we move to EE.

Craft Trap uses skill points? What skill(s)?

What about the other crafting? Do they use skill points too? There must be a post I missed somewhere that summarizes crafting, right?

The "Craft trap" skill is used for crafting traps. :)

I haven't written up a big post on it yet as its still in its infancy. Potion brewing is pretty well documented though. I'm also looking at turning "craft wand" into "craft golem/elemental" summoning shit. Way better than wands IMO.
