Stepping down as HDM

Post by Teric neDhalir »

Friends,
I must regretfully announce that I'm stepping down as HDM of the Heartlands. No drama, I've just run out of steam. I've drafted several versions of this message which just witter on incontinently, so I'll just say a huge thank you to everyone that's played, DMed, Admin'ed and Hosted over the last 12 years that I've been in ALFA.

AFAIK normal service will continue with the server and I hope it develops further in the future under new management.

Best wishes to you all, may all your rolls be 20,
Steve aka Teric neDhalir

Teric:

Thanks for the years of work and dedication you've put into ALFA. Please take some time off to be with the family, and hopefully you'll be able to return at some point in the future.

Thank you so much teric, for a beautiful server that I thoroughly enjoyed exploring. For your interactions with the community, AND for realizing when you need to take time away.

I enjoy the server, Teric, just never had chance to play during Live. Take care, and thank you.

Sad news, thanks for years of devotion you put into it.

Hope you'll stick around ALFA anyhow.

While I've only stepped around for WHL for like, 2 days during Hurricane outage for BG, pretty wild to see the massive amounts of output of Teric... hope RL is good going into the holidays and all, don't be a stranger. Good business to you!

I'm sorry to see you go man. I barely know you, but was looking forward to a lot of interaction after the holiday nutzness is over.

I hope you rest/relax and come back to play some with us. Thanks for building a toy box so full of good stuff to play with.

But we all understand burn out, better to recognize it and walk away. Just hope it's not permanent and you can find joy in your creation again.

We'll keep the fires going.

Thankyou so much T,

Haven't made it to WHL in ALFA2, but i have glimpsed the enormous effort you must have put in by trying to do soemthing far more simple and smaller scale. We will be arriving there IG soon and i look forward to using the amazing sandbox you've built for us with your freely given time. This sorta thing = what i love about this place.

Best of luck and fun
