Hmm, never thought about it...

I'll take note when it happens next.

Sometimes , when you leave the encounter map you re-enter it straight after you leave.

(The encounter map is loaded again instead of the world map area)

Yeah, that happens. It's because you roll another encounter when you re-enter the travel map (the encounter loop being started OnEnter). It would be less obvious if there were other people in the travel area at the same time so the timer is offset from your re-entering. I should think about fixing it.

The NwN2 challenge ratings (Effortless, Easy, etc) do not seem to be hidden on NPCs when examining them.

That's been reported before and I've added the relevant lines to the .ini to turn it off but it's not working.. I'll bother a grown-up about it tonight.

The chameleon armor in the leather shop in soubar was returned to returns bin for -518 (negative) gold. It was priced at 554 to buy.

Returns bins (or perhaps the items for sale) have a bug.

Twice now I have returned an item and gotten a weird script.

For example, Fleeming Jenkin in Boesekyr Bridge

Lost item: Pit Fighter's Breatplate
Error: Value Calculated at -252
no gold is returned but the item is taken. Then, the item sits in the return bin.

No one sells healing potions (not even CLW at 50gp). Neither do any priests sell standard CLW scrolls (25gp a piece.) It is mainly a problem since some character can't access BG.

My suggestion: import all items from the BG module into WHL palette. Distribute as needed. Don't remake the wheel.

Yes they do. I don't think you've seen all of the server yet. Please have a look at the Info for Players thread for a map of the server bounds and how to access it.
Cheers.

It would be very nice for PCs to have the option to force exit from the Travel Map to the closest area (ala TSM).

When a PC is moving on the overland on TSM he/she can click the "FollowOn" button. This triggers a "you step off the road" script and causes you (and your whole party if partied) into the closest area.

It is good for RPing along the road, investigating parts of the trail in greater detail, etc.

edit: this same script also fires if two PCs not in the same party approach eachother on the overland map.

Derg,
Short answer. Too complicated.
Medium answer. In most of the travel map there is no nearest area.
Longish answer. My intention with the travel areas was that they should be "real" areas, just smaller. I know you can't get too close together, but if you just want a chat it should be possible? And if you get jumped by orcs then maybe you should have found a room? :)
