As the intrepid adventurers return to the Hall, after tracking down the assailant that jumped Balkr on his way back to Callidyrr, they find the place has been ransacked and the chest while intact and unopened shows signs of having the lock messed with.

Regarding tomorrow night:

Arizma relates that she and Toby successfully interrogated a Stone with the Legend Book. A few things were learned that I will try to post later or relate IC, if I cannot get it posted. They also spoke with the Seneschal about information from Blackstaff. He indicated that a missive was received that indicated that Blackstaff would offer some counsel within six weeks (IIRC.)

Arri is not ready for us to pursue the next stone, so of the things that Arizma had on her radar, only the clearance of the ruins near Horsa (where the last stone was found) remains to be done. She will suggest this be done, although she is certainly open to suggestions if others want to to something else.

Of course, if we manage to be atacked by more assassins, trying to catch one alive would prove a lively endeavor.

A grand hello to all, my "eventual tank" combat Pally will be in tow tomorrow, looking forward to it!
((Actually he's already a half-decent tank, near future will prove much much more effective - if he survives))

Legend Book regarding a Stone wrote: One of 12 Stones of Discord , created in <date> for Crown Horns. On Myrkuls death, Stored at Temple in MacSheehan, found by Pelmor Disrrat High Priest of Talos.
*shielded from any attempt to be scryed

*Not damageable by mundane means

*No mental affect on Undead or Unliving creatures

*Causes Bad Dreams to all living in a vicinity of 50 miles unless augmented by silver then its powers of chaos and storms come forth

*causes Lesser animals to be Agitated

*offspring born within its influence may be warped in some manner

* When augmented by silver it causes Weather and natures balance to go off Kilter ,

* causes pain and headaches

* Magical artifact

* contained by quartz

*Can be used to create Curst Warriors
The two lines in bold are what Arizma found most concerning/interesting. As you all might remember, the Queen is pregnant with twins. This makes recovery of the stone that still has influence on Alaron a priority. The fact that the stones cannot be scried means that they could effectively be hidden, if Blackstaff has no additional suggestions on what to do with them.

Life has been super busy


THere will be a game tonight around 6:30 -7 PM PDT


I think the objective is to finish clearing and exploring the Ruins in Horsa tonight, integrate any new players and tie up loose ends

The hardy adventurer's went back to the Temple Ruins in Horsa to investigate other areas they had missed on their first visit. Toby, Lunette and Arizma were joined by a Shining Paladin of Bahamut named Ptolem. Their investigations led them to another unknown area where they encountered traps and creatures. They found new traps near the previous portals . The Paladin falling more then once to a fiery trap, While Lunette nearly died to a bear, and Toby was sorely mangled, on the way back to Callidyrr. It seems the ruin has not yet given up all its secrets.

Lunette makes a few notes to improve for next time.

1) stay behind the scout and step only where the scout steps.

2) more elemental wards are needed. Please make some or get some.

3) stay behind the scout (again) but stay within sight.

4) when the scout says don't move, don't move. (Or boom)

5) more heal potions needed. (double whatever you think is a good number)

6) keep at least one heal for the way back

6) for Lunette herself: Don't assume the road back is safe from bear attacks!

Lunette spent time healing in the broken gods temple. She was brought in on Toby's shoulders. Her moans of agony noted by the priests and they aided her suffering- (after Toby paid for her to be healed)

The young moon maiden rambled a bit about swearing vengeance on bearkind but reminded herself that Selune wouldn't approve of such thoughts and so asked forgiveness once she recovered.

"I wonder if that Elven observatory was a selunite temple... I wish there was one here. Learning about Her on these islands is really hard..."

I think Lunettes notes will be very helpful....and worth memorizing :oops:

I am on call this weekend, but plan to be around tomorrow night. After speaking with AK, I believe our plan is to delve into the ruins in the Farheights where Toby thinks a stone may be hidden.

We should probably expect undead and possibly constructs, if past ruins are any indication. We should all stock up on healing, as we are able.

I would suggest we meet at the house in Callidyrr at the appointed start time.

Due to server restarts that were likely due to weather issues at the box [ and screwing up my presets ] game is postponed.

OT is out next Friday so we will be in CBT till the 5th it looks like.


Next game will start AT THE DOORS . . .

Because of our suspension of the session last week and OT being unavailable until next week, I am assuming that no session is planned for tonight. If I play at all, it will be with an alt PC elsewhere.
