Rumors of vermin overruning Boar's Tusk in Corwell

Talk of townsfolks and peasants in Corwell and immediate areas speak of rats attacking the patrons at Boar's Tusk a few days ago. Almost no-one visits the Tusk anymore, even though the innkeeper insists he and his establishment is the victim of a purposeful attack that is now over. Perhaps this is a harbringer of much worse to come to the town itself by sinister forces spreading vermin and disease?

Few of those bitten by the crazed-aggressive rats have sought treatment against illness from the druids.

The innkeeper also mentions a kind human priest or cleric, clad all in black and sporting a facemask, who rallied himself and others to the rescue. Oddly the priest doen't seem to have left his name with the innkeeper.
