It's 2024, and NWN1 (the Enhanced Edition, at least) is still getting updates and patches. If you had told me that was going to happen, back in 2006... I would have giggled. A lot.

Yep, NWN1 EE is still popular with a pretty strong niche.
For ALFA related servers Waterdeep is still going strong with about as many active players as 2005 - 6.
Daggerford is still active with a DM'd group and getting upgrades and expansions.
Baldur's Gate is pretty active with state of the art scripts comparable to some of the more popular servers like Arelith.
No sign of slowing down.
