This session ended with the group hitting the mark for level 2. Folk not there or who couldn't stay to the end still level; though those attending get the inspiration bonus for the RP.

Reminder I will be out of town next week.

Neit will take up caboose in marching order.

He will ritual purify food/drink each meal and attempt to create decaying leftovers shrine to pray over.

He is life domain healer and has 3 spells per day, saving at least one for an emergency cure wounds. In crisis has channel divinity: preserve life 1/rest.

In combat he can cast guidance to buff, sacred flame to spam ranged attacks, or guiding bolt if a boss has to die fast. Also, he can tank and use the help action to provide adv. to others.

Also, I'd like to pass my inspiration die over to Pel for the session.

Good luck!

Pel still has an inspiration die from session 1.

*passes it back*

Also, sorry I had to dash suddenly. My ride turned up unexpectedly early.

A quick bit of information about dice-altering abilities. Like if you have some source of luck rolls, inspiration, portents, etc.

If you're keen on using these mechanics on some "hidden" type roll (like if you're being lied to by someone who you don't already suspect, or if you're trying to spot some sleight of hand-- cases where knowing that there is a roll is more information than you should get from the roll), you can just say whenever that the next skill of <blah> type is going to get <mechanic>. Or if it's luck, a power where you get to respond to a roll after the dice but before the result, a number that's low enough to warrant its use. Can also retract that whenever. Or not specify a type. If you just want to use your inspiration on the first hidden roll of any sort, that's also fine.

I won't tell you immediately when you've used it, unless the power makes you succeed (in which case, "Your inspiration is used and you notice [blah]"). Otherwise I'm going to try to put some time buffer in there so that the expended mechanic doesn't have the same problem as seeing the rolls.

I'm going to be about an hour late getting into the game. Feel free to have fun without me. I will jump in asap.

I need to cancel these sessions.

Apologies to the players; it seems that my limit is somewhere more than 2 games and less than 3, and I'm finding this for sure as I confirm I won't be prepared for the next session even having two weeks to do it. To keep sanity, I have to drop the youngest campaign, which is this one.

...poor Pel never got to swing his axe, no barbarian heaven for him.

Alas!

Thanks for the sessions so far Zelknolf.

It was a bit of an awkward campaign with the typing, I found, and the sometimes long silences as all people waited for others to type.

I will look forward to Mundasia v4 (or whatever we are up to now).
