Anyone want to play old school D&D ?

Post by SCI-kick »

I've seen very little action lately.

Is there any players or DMs that would want to try an old school, module type Dungeons & Dragons adventure?

No politics, no history. Just a group of characters that go on an adventure.

I have Olin (Cleric 7 / Warrior 1) and Shank (Warrior 5) if anyone would like to do this. Both are pretty much your basic adventurers, there would be no arguing with this these guys other than to complete the adventure, or die.

Anyone interested?

I have Ptolem (Ranger2/Paladin2), Tank, self healer, and good in a scrap as well. Always interested. Close to 5th level.

This sounds very fun, but I just want people to play ALFA. Everyone who even just checks the forums sub-regularly, roll a PC, start doing statics everyday, and if we all do it, there will be ALFA again.

but yes, if you'll have me, i'm in.

Dori, dwarf F2/Cl2/R2 stands ready. We could go spelunking in Delzoun, or something. If we can find a time that overlaps us all.

What sort of time would work? I would be limited to Friday night or Saturday morning US times.

I have very little free time anymore, but I could try to get in on a Delzoun thing...

The Delzoun thing sounds so fun.
RIP Willjo. He'll have a dark brew from the Heavens above watching ye.
I'm always good for "your" Friday night, or "your" Saturday night (which becomes "my" Saturday and Sunday mornings, when I usually can play)... of course, as always, don't worry about me, if you all find a best time to give it a go when I can't play, of course go for it. I hope someone posts a summary/story of the adventure so I can live it vicariously! ha! I'll certainly be posting a story about it if I go...good luck all

I could do EST midnight, which is 6 am for me...I could drag myself out of bed for it. Otherwise EST weekend mornings are generally good for me (my afternoons), except during next month when I will be busy most weekends.

Kudos to the OP for a very valiant attempt.

I'm moving Rhone to TSM and making a new PC on Moonshaes for Friday nights. So I can play Saturday mornings on TSM for a Delzoun group, which sounds like it will also work for TA and hopefully the other US guys?

There isn't really a player base to DM at the moment. I'm not ruling it out, but my pattern is usually to play a PC until we get a party established and then to turn around and DM them unless someone else steps up. Delzoun is extremely fun without a DM.

Right on. And yes! I sure hope a little crowd heads to Delzoun, I've never been there

I think I'll be available next Saturday for spelunking.

We have a holiday weekend here in the US. I will try to make it, but I will have family in from out of state, so no guarantees. I have parked Rhone in Silvy at the NE gate, ready to go. 8)
