That sounds promising.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. Come on in people!

Does indeed sound promising. Especially with the really little ones; they like being all snuggly like that.

Also not sure it's a hijack to say the reason you're not coming on in. Especially when it's good news from the big picture. Bad news for our specific game here in the short term, yeah, but overall good news. The next generation of role players has to come from somewhere.

Also congrats!

No need to worry about hijack. As long as people post here it means they are at least still looking at the forums! :)

Still ecking out a living on Sigil. RP is fun, but no real party play of note other than the usual party to grind scenarios.

It scratches the itch and there is always someone to play with if you know where to look.

Hi Cloud!
Yes, I hear that, I did see you pop on BG for a few minutes the other day with Caine (no one can hide from the Galad0rk - since I play every day!) My new PC is named Ptolem Graysin (so next time I say "Hi!" from another server, you don't need to log off thinking "ugh some newblet is trying to talk to me I better get outta here." anymore!) :) ((j/k))

I do hope you and EVERY other player past or present reading this really tries to get back on ALFA soon! It's still great fun, but MULTIPLI-so with anyone else on besides myself. ha. Not to mention the survival rate goes through the roof when there's someone else behind you with a CLW potion when that inevitable -6 floor KAPOW hits rarely... but way more important than that, is the conversation/RP I miss so much from the amazing players that "once" frequented this "still awesome" PW.

Those DMs and builders/Techies still around really are still doing great things and I feel spoiled nearly the only one at all enjoying them!

So please people, come on in, and I know YOU (any of you reading this) are thinking: "Yea! I will!" ...and you check the server status' at the top of the homepage and see...

MS: 0 - BG: 0 - WHL: 0 - TSM: 1

...and decide: "Nope!" ...well that "1" is me. So don't leave me hanging! Come on in, and if you can't do TSM, I'm more than happy to pop over to MS or BG anytime if someone else is on! Bu is parked indefinitely on WHL Quarantine for now, so the other 3 servers are fair game for my new fellow.

Really hope to see more people on soon!

If it don't get better by August 30 ((WoW Legion debue!)), I'm afraid my own dedication might wane for Demon Killing in Aezeroth IF there's still no one at all on ALFA.... :(

Cheers all

I like to login and look at Caine's face now and then. I think she's doing good for herself in Baldur's Gate while ministering to the flock and escorting pilgrims back and forth between Beregost. If BG had a scheduled game night, I might be able to make it now that my summer is over.

I have Trapper on Sigil. I can't tell you how happy that makes me to play her (about 15 years older.) It is the perfect destination for a follower of Shaundakul. She's run into an old friend she thought lost forever and meets all sorts of new friends while travelling the planes.

social servers are so so...you can roll up whatever you want..but it means nothing really, same way in that I am playing a modified version of a prior PC in a PnP game, but at least that PC can die and have some impact.

if you want real RP stick with ALFA and keep an eye on things here soon

It's been a quiet dream to introduce some planer stuff in alfa. To have a character bring back such experiences canonically.

Though I did get to live the dream on sigil myself for a while :)

So I really wish I could find some game in ALFA. The RP on other PWs pales in comparison. Lord knows I have tried. A few months back things seemed promising but then it was mostly just me logged in with the off chance of maybe running into maybe 1 other player, sometimes. I do wish we could get some real steady game going with a DM on BG or TSM. Depressing.

Sounds good. There are several DMs who just signed up, hopefully a few of them might quickdraw the wand soon! My PC is lvl 3 right now, ripe for the slaughter.

I dare you to RP crafting that platinum armour the old fashioned way.

Keep the zombie alive for 300 days or whatever it is.

If only we could scare Ronan out of the woodwork, I'd come back to BG.
