Heya
I'm pretty sure Gruu's still hanging out in Baldur's Gate waiting on the magical armour she's already paid for, but the magic shop guy/DM completely forgot about.
However, I see there's some kind of multiple PC allowance these days. I've got a couple of other low level, low combat, RP characters I've had bouncing around in my head for years that I wouldn't hate giving a go... what's up with multiple PCs?

Just finished with the downloading... But do I create my idealistic, but arguably misguided, young wizard or my preachy priest of Ao first?Dorn wrote:To TSM for you young man. Toot sweet!

We have several paladin/cleric types so god heavy. So either one priest to rule them all and in the pulpit bind them...
Or wizard and try to make frienfs with Mick's major league caster Arizma.

I think I'll go with the priest of Ao to start with. Last I heard, Ao doesn't grant spells, or anything really, so he won't be a very healy priest.dergon darkhelm wrote:Ach! Both sound equally frustrating to RP with.

I just need to figure out how to play the game again...

RL is a bitch though, I shall look longingly to the TSMers and hope to pop in at some point.
(And I shall play my new blood wizard, who'll obviously be granted no spells and will just poke his finger with a needle, while swearing at the enemy)
<paazin>: internet relationships are really a great idea
Re: Heya
ALFA canon breaks with FR canon at our go-live date (with a couple exceptions-- like Mask was dead by our go-live date, devoured by Shar as her carefully-timed collection of an old debt, and Lathander had recovered his ancient essence and become Amaunator). Even if FR suddenly made Ao grant spells, he still wouldn't in ALFA NWN2 because new FR publications are 100 years in the future.NickD wrote:I think I'll go with the priest of Ao to start with. Tech folk are around if you need help. In theory, this should just be a matter of installing NWN2 and direct connecting to one of our servers (they have aliases -- tsm.alandfaraway.info, bg.alandfaraway.info, etc), though I would strongly suggest installing Skywing's Client Extension, for the added stability and the option to actually have a server list, so you can connect the way we did in the old times.I just need to figure out how to play the game again...
Downloads are automatic. If you still have your old CD keys, using them to install NWN2 will make using your old GSID significantly easier.
