Questions for PA Candidate Heero

Post by Zelknolf »

What goals do you have for your PA term?

Which parts of Mugabe's leadership were you keen on emulating?

Which parts of Veilan's leadership were you keen on emulating?

... why compare Veilan to Mugabe?

So... I'm guessing you're actually going to do this?
Alright. Try not to break anything.
Also try not to get blinded by the abominations you will witness.

Serious questions:
  • What do you consider powergaming?
  • What do you consider powerbuilding?
  • What do you consider metagaming?
  • If you cannot define these in a clear and concise manner, please provide examples of each of the issues.
  • What is your approach to player discipline regarding these issues?
  • Our charter is relatively clear on some issues and not quite as clear on other circumstances of these areas. Will you, as PA, objectively address these gray areas in a manner that is consistent with all players?
  • If you are elected PA, you have on your AR staff?

Question 1:
Given all players vote for you, do you think the PAs role is:
A) to manage players as it relates to rules
B) to be the main 'driver' for improvements in ALFA that will benefit players and their enjoyment of our wonderful little world

I say 'driver' rather than 'implementer', as the responsibility for things that are the main impactors on players are often in DMA or TA portfolios. This is a difficult question as the roles and responsibilities assigned to administrators are somewhat ambiguous regarding who is responsible for policy or direction.

If B, What would you like to see for the players you are asking to to vote for you?

Question 2:
You're responsible for "guilds" which as we're not in guildwars I assume means player groups. What are your plans to help them?

Hey man,

Would you support eliminating server passwords and the entire application process? Do either serve any useful purpose any longer in your view?

Heero, I know you I think. You have it within you to be serious and do a job well.

Is being the PA something you will take serious and do well?

If the answer is no, please step down and let someone else deal with it.
If the answer is yes, You will have my vote.

I deeply resemble this comparison.
