But because I asked people to post bugs there, I'm opening this thread for all other commentary. Though in response to jabs I've already gotten...

Q. This doesn't seem very high priority. Why aren't you working on my favorite thing?
A. The old tailor system, based on xp_craft, routinely corrupts and duplicates items. In the worst cases, this means having to retool the item completely, and it often means reviewing logs for the scope of damage (particularly when the player doesn't report that they've duped an item-- fortunately, such cases ended with the player quietly fireplacing the dupe, but it's not fun to verify that). So this has been high priority for some time-- since before I wrote ACR_Items (you'd know it from the item pricer and the loot generator), in fact-- but I've picked up the server-side portion of the work because it became very clear that the server-side effort necessary to make it happen has evaporated and is never coming back.

And I'm not working on your favorite thing because it's stupid. That thing. Why do you even like it?


Q. Why can't I have "Next" and "Previous" models any more? I liked that.
A. Maintainability. Now that this is set up, people of low to middling experience with the toolset can implement new options in the tailor and push it out elsewhere. The "next" and "previous" setup required a little more confidence with NWScript and string parsing, which isnt necessary here.

The Corwell Tailor will use the new Tailor Dialog come my next update

WHL will use the new tailor once it's proven stable by current testing.

Gallows? Where ? Corwell got a platform with a whipping post and a stocks on it I have not added any gallows
