Mage Duels
Cynthia Brightwater won the Mage Duel competition, having a surprising surplus of castable spells for the contest.
As her reward, she was given a Helmet of Sorcery I.
As her boon, she asked for a kiss, which the lady granted as a chaste peck on the cheek.
Next posts coming tomorrow when there's punch and pie. Well, punching and pie.

Grats to the winner. Fun to hear it went to a lower lvl!

It’s not the critic who counts...The credit belongs to the man who actually is in the arena, who strives violently, who errs and comes up short again and again...who if he wins, knows the triumph of high achievement, but who if he fails, fails while daring greatly.-T. Roosevelt

We can still try and spank each other once you get your HD fixed.

Pie Eating
Many pies destroyed, and some unfortunate word choices in emotes.
In the end-- a shocking result as the frail wizard Toby proves the most capable of eating pies!
He took a cloak of resistance as his prize.
The runner up, Zasheir, took an amulet of resistance as his.
As it is not a tournament of arts or arms, there was no tradition of boons to call upon.

Very much fun, lots of lulz at emotes and I was glad I made it in the knick of time
Re: Greengrass Contest Results
Sparring
Sparring was fought in two brackets, with newbies (characters less than a year old) who were eliminated in the first bracket competing for a prize of their own.
Keren won the spar, and took an enchanted kukri.
He requested that his boon be granted on Tha'is' behalf, but this prompted her to leave instead of accepting it.
Toby won the newbie spar, and took enchanted hide armor.

Archery
Darius, Kalavaria, and Toby were the only archers to arrive; Toby took first prize, taking Boots of Escape as his prize; Darius took second place, and a helmet of insight.

Bardic Contest
The competition only had two entries, a song about Greengrass by Vila and an untitled dance by Tha'is.
Tha'is won the competition, taking a sash of grace as her prize and asking to defer her boon.
Vila took second place, taking an amulet improving her hearing as her prize.
