Word of advice, unless confronted with a log... plead the fifth, or in game parlance, "I fade to black".
I doubt, therefore; I might be
Calil - Elf maid depicted in profile picture.
Bellie - Small woman from Lowhill with big attitude - see below

FoamBats4All wrote:"Sorry, I can't take the judge seriously, I know she has sex."
Also characters have sex in sci-fi/fantasy books all the time.
Na, we know everyone has sex.
If the judge has sex on the street in the middle of the day and we all see it, it might cause some problems.

Now it's true that the character didn't do that,
but when a DM is on it can be expected that he'll check up on you.
Letting him know what's up is as simple as closing the bedroom door, which seems trivial when you do stuffs.
Then there's nothing to "Unsee" and the you only have the vague knowing that someone did something,
which is easier to deal with that actually watching the porn.

People shouldn't be viewed as 'prude' or whatever for saying 'no thanks, not interested in being subjected to the latter'. :|
You mean the latter two. Vonnegut includes graphic descriptions and drawings.

But Foam and I respond not to say that you should want to watch; your limits are your own. That's fine, fair warnings/ take it to tells/ be respectful of other people in game. It's a whole other thing for a fellow to decide that someone having done it makes them less worthy of respect-- your character's mortal urges are described in privacy and therefore I flip this little dichotomy switch over to "whore" and provide no respect again. That's a little fucked up.

I cant believe Rumple's simple request to be told you are engaging in cyber upon his logging in as a DM has turned into a debate on whether you should or shouldnt cyber, not to mention comparisons of ALFA cyber to reading Chaucer.

It seems a perfectly fair request to me. And in fact, its much more reasonable than Rumple simply blacklisting people whom he stumbles upon mid virtual coitus. He just said while he wants to DM you all, but hed like to avoid the discomfort of inadvertently bearing witness to digital fantasy fulfillment that he may find awkward so please let him know.

Am I missing something here?

Yes. You missed T-Eyes' comment. The conversation went from someone not wanting to be subjected to a particular kind of content to someone saying that he disregards and trivializes other characters because they have at some other point participated in that content.

Rumple was fine; folk seemed to be agreeing with him and willing to accomodate. T-Eyes made an outrageous comment-- which some of us feel the need to counter (the Chaucer comparison being an easy target; it will at least be hard to argue that The Canterbury Tales is something other than quality literary fiction containing graphic sex, and that the rest of the work isn't instantly turned into background for pornography by it)

I did miss T-Eyes comment which was also uncalled for. Live and let live and all.

I call upon Heero to initiate and thereafter curate a list of players who are at least occasionally masturbating while gaming, such that we may live and let live in a fully informed fashion. Vote Heero for Cyber Admin.

You mean the latter two. Vonnegut includes graphic descriptions and drawings.

Indeed, which is why I specifically mentioned Vonnegut, as an author I've enjoyed in the past and someone who has some graphic content in his work. However, I intentionally made a distinction between #2 Vonnegut and #3 fish fetish publications because there's a world of difference between the two. :)

According to Brokenbone, 'winning' this one apparently means I have to take a role call as to who is rubbing one out while logged into ALFA. I think he hates me. And not just a little bit...a lot.

After you fight the Purple Worm, you discover:

Studded Leather +1
Manacles (Masterwork)
Rod of Viscous Globs
Pearl Necklace (500gp)
Rod of Lordly Might

Edit: I was reminded a Elixir of Love would not go amiss. Maybe a Girdle of Masculinity/Femininity as well.

I still feel like I have to protect ice's comment somewhat. I mean, I get it.
Not that I personally would mind, but I get it.
If you have an established relationship between DM and player it's less of a big deal.

If it's the first (or one of the first) things you learn about a toon, it colors it in a certain way.
Same as the first scene is some fantasy book would be a steamy sex scene. It would kind of color what you expect of the rest of the book.
If it's just a thing that's added in somewhere mid-story because, well, why not, it's different.
If you get the feeling it's one of the main points of the story, well, it might not be a story that suits you and you'd rather read something else.
I don't think what he's saying is "I won't DM anyone who ever erp'd" because clearly he has...

As a side note: BB is a horrible human being.
