alfa_acr02.tlk

Post by Galadorn »

I downloaded a huge update (700Mb), and the last 3Mb was the 'alfa_acr02.tlk' file which the auto-downloader tried 5-6 attempts at, failed, and then gave me an error that said to contact a tech admin at ALFA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We're in the process of updating the ACR. You won't be able to log in until we're done.

Update should be done now-- when each server finishes restarting you should be able to log in.

In the future, you can avoid being blocked from logging in during the time I'm preparing updates by getting downloads done after updates. You'll be able to log in on the pre-update haks right up until I actually shoo people off of the server (which usually means a 15-30 minute downtime, depending on whether I have to bounce the servers twice like this time).

And if you don't have files ahead of time, the span between my breaking the ADL and everything being updated tends to be about 2 hours.

Giving life to this. I am getting this when trying to log onto MS 4/17/15

Updater does several attempts, telling me the file has been downloaded (and I do see it in my files) but cannot be verified. Please contact tech

So I am hoping it was some sort of update thing and I may try again in the future

For some odd reason, the ADL is looking inside of the module folder for the tlk. This obviously isn't ending well.

It's fixable, but until I get it fixed, you can connect to any other server to get haks/tlks and then connect to MS to get the module-specific stuff. It can identify a correct set of haks but can't currently acquire them for you.
