Need a hand-holding friend (for Toolset set-up)

I have some plans to build areas, and also would very much like to be able to build/toolset items myself rather than asking others to help when I need them.

I would really appreciate if someone can meet me on Chat with a little time on their hands within the next few days, and help me get my toolset set up for ALFA item building and areas/interiors/landscape building. I won't need ALL the tilesets, although if it's just the same and not too hard to get "everything", then that would be best.

I have tried before to do it through the "Toolsetting" forum instructional threads, which are great by the way, but in the end, with "live" help, it goes much smoother and ends up resulting in the desired result much more than just following the static thread/suggestions.

Castano did this for me a few years ago, and it worked great. ...but it did involve a few strange processes, involving "Adding haks to certain folders - in specific order" etc, that in fact in the end seemed complicated enough that I know for me would just go so much easier with a live person to help me out with.

Since Castano helped me, I have since lost NWN2 and then bought it off Steam over a year ago, and have not set up my toolset yet. I also am not sure if using the Steam versions might make setting up the toolset for ALFA building any different than if the game is installed with the CDs?

Thanks in advance, looking very much forward to any help available.

I will also be available for other help building interiors or outdoor areas if any DMs want help after I get set up. Interiors were my speciality. :)

Poke around in #alfa-players and #alfa-builders. Plenty of folk available to help. If you have specific questions I can do my best to answer them.

If I've got the time/motivation I can do another stream to visually show you or help you out, have done that for others.

Or ask me.

You should also look at the Toolsetting forum.
