Player lead PC training - Bladesingers (LFG)

Hi folks, so, I've already approached a few people I already knew/know might have some interest in the concept but wanted to make an actual thread for it as some of them may or may not actually be able to do it regardless.
Basically as some of you might have read, I was pushing the concept of player lead training and and adventure in the 'bring people to alfa' thread. The concept being that High level PCs could be used to facilitate RP and fun with lower level PCs and do not need to be doing all the stuff, or even center of attention.
My desire is to do exactly as I suggested and go about RPing training up a group of bladesingers, try and do pretty regular sessions and aim to have some fun with it.
Curmudgeon actually suggested it'd be a good/interesting idea, now, obviously as I'm not a DM I cannot outright grant XP for the people involved in the 'training rp' but I'm in discussion to get sort of system that would allow for PCs to get experience based on these sessions. The goal would obviously to get every PC involved validated as a bladesinger too, could be considered something of a guild being formed even. But equally some PCs that do it may due to IC reasons end up deciding to turn away from such a path. The important bit would still be the RP involved.
The goal is to make it so that you get to learn to work together, compliment eachother and improve without having to go trolling random caves for the levels too much, so instead we can have some fun with IC expeditions and the like, I'll be aiming to work on sending the PCs that are involved on quests of their own as well, Elenaril (my pc for those that do not know) will be anything but center of attention, especially in these 'adventures', I want to build something that IC I feel the PC would do, that has the benefit of providing an opportunity for other PCs that might be interested.
Core benefits for those involved theoretically are:
- 'high level' PC that will provide the requisite equipment for the role (unique weapons, scrolls that sort of thing)
- a group with a core theme that ties them together
- RP opportunities obviously between the entire group
- hopefully a much more consistent route to entering a PRC without the usual stress and frustration many suggest (though obviously getting validated would require DM validation still)
- decent chance at nabbing some DM time, if worst comes to worst I'll probably switch to the wand side as the 'group' get to a point where DMs are vital (validation and possible final PRC quest)
The only requirement would be that the PCs must be elves or half elves, anything else I can't really justify IC.
I'd like to try and make something like this work as proof that a player coordinated thing like it CAN work. My goal in terms of Elenaril and possibly Aglaril is to also show that if the players of 'high levels' make an effort to work WITH the DMs, it can be fun for all involved.
NOTE: server location will be dependant on who is doing it, so it's not set in stone, I'm not looking to start this till mid Jan at earliest, so it's possible that by then we may even have a two PC rule.
Cheers
