Character and plot resource

Post by Rumple C »

Hi,

I stumbled across this.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Characters

A indirect great resource for classic character and personality traits.

Other menus lead to plot devices and many other wonderful things.

I can see myself getting alot of use out of this.

I mean... check this dude out...

Be careful about using tvtropes. It's like crack-- a distracting giant that will devour more of your time than and Elder Scrolls game.

Also, I recommend reading the article on tvtropes about when to use tropes in writing-- does a pretty good job of presenting something approachable that explains their power and danger.

I've already wasted two hours today following BB's initial link in chat...

Perhaps not wasted, those hours were filled with chortles and knowing smiles.
The power of concealment lies in revelation.
