Yes, I know how cliche it is, but it fits Darhthmec:

Metalica - The Unforgiven II

Lay beside me, tell me what they’ve done
Speak the words I want to hear, to make my demons run
The door is locked now but it’s opened if you’re true
If you can understand the me, then I can understand the you

Lay beside me, under wicked skies
Through black of day, dark of night, we share this paralyze
The door cracks open but there’s no sun shining through
Black heart scarring darker still, but there’s no sun shining through

No, there’s no sun shining through
No, there’s no sun shining

What I’ve felt, what I’ve known
Turn the pages, turn the stone
Behind the door, should I open it for you?

What I’ve felt, what I’ve known
Sick and tired, I stand alone
Could you be there, ‘cause I’m the one who waits for you
Or are you unforgiven, too?

Come beside me, this won’t hurt, I swear
She loves me not, she loves me still, but she’ll never love again
She lay beside me but she’ll be there when I’m gone
Black heart scarring darker still, yes, she’ll be there when I’m gone
Yes, she’ll be there when I’m gone
Dead sure she’ll be there

What I’ve felt, what I’ve known
Turn the pages, turn the stone
Behind the door, should I open it for you?

What I’ve felt, what I’ve known
Sick and tired, I stand alone
Could you be there, ‘cause I’m the one who waits for you
Or are you unforgiven, too?

Lay beside me, tell me what I’ve done
The door is closed, so are your eyes
But now I see the sun, now I see the sun
Yes, now I see it

What I’ve felt, what I’ve known
Turn the pages, turn the stone
Behind the door, should I open it for you?

What I’ve felt, what I’ve known
So sick and tired, I stand alone
Could you be there? ‘Cause I’m the one who waits
The one who waits for you

I take this key
And I bury it in you
Because you’re unforgiven, too

Never free
Never me
‘Cause you’re unforgiven, too

Going to have to stay with Metallica for Shank . . .
(Duck , maybe your new bard can sing this for him? Haha)

SEEK AND DESTROY - from "Kill 'Em All"

We’re scanning the scene in the city tonight
We’re looking for you to start up a fight
There’s an evil feeling in our brains
But it’s nothing new, you know it drives us insane

Searching . . . Seek and destroy !

Wait a second. Praten is one of two PC's that actually have legit theme songs written for them. In game. The real deal. Does it need to be on Youtube now? Seriously, how many PC's get their own walk-up music like they're the star pitcher coming in the 9th inning to close the deal?

Hoist That Rag, an ole sailors expression used when you want to remind someone that yes life is a miserable bloody affair, but there is work to do so get to it.....reminds me of Solatri and his often hard luck and ever growing list of dead friends.

I'm playing a new PC now and trying to get into his head a bit.

For Trailyn "Wayfarer" I think I need to go with "Ramble on" by Led Zeppelin.

But he also gives me a bit of a gritty, bayou vibe so I consider Credence a good representation. Maybe "Green River".

Toby probably would need a themesong update I'm guessing

Aglaril holding steady with Englishman in New York, minor changes (Moonshae Isles rather than Baldur's Gate, etc), In the Living Years still applies, probably more than ever.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d27gTrPPAyk

I don't drink whiskey I take Everquisst my dear
I like my lembas done on the side
And you can hear it in my accent when I talk
I'm a Sun Elf in Moonshae Isles

See me walking down the Kings Way
A longsword here at my side
I take it everywhere I walk
I'm a Sun Elf in Moonshae Isles

Oh, I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien
I'm a Sun Elf in Moonshae Isles
I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien
I'm a Sun Elf in Moonshae Isles

If "manners maketh man" as someone said
Then he's the hero of the day
It takes a Quessir to suffer ignorance and smile
Be yourself no matter what they say

I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien
I'm a Bladesinger in the Isles
I'm an alien, I'm a legal alien
I'm a Bladesinger in the Isles

Modesty, propriety can lead to notoriety
You could end up as the only one
Gentleness, sobriety are rare in this society
At night a candle's brighter than the sun

Takes more than combat xp to make a man
Takes more than license for a vorpal blade
Confront your enemies, avoid them when you can
A gentleman will Dimension Door but (seldom) run

If "manners maketh man" as someone said
Then he's the hero of the day
It takes a Quessir to suffer ignorance and smile
Be yourself no matter what they say

Be yourself no matter what they say

Some of the most solid driving music to be listened to as well I might add.

Here are some favourites: (but in all honesty everything The Hip ever made was top notch)

It is more than worth clicking on each link and listening to every song fully. :)

Honorable re-mention since this thread is back on the pop lately.

Didn't really put much thought into Kalo's song, but I guess "Stone" , by Alice in Chains works.

Mostly because I think the song and video is really cool, but also because Kalo is sort of a "cold, dry stone" , personality wise.

I have found that since returning, the song I think of most when playing Bellie is Marco Polo by Loreena Mckennit. I'm currently in the process of writing about what she was doing while not around, including her trip to Calimshan, which is largely where this song's flavor takes me in my head.

I doubt, therefore; I might be
Calil - Elf maid depicted in profile picture.
Bellie - Small woman from Lowhill with big attitude - see below
