GF's platform

Post by Grand Fromage »

My only policy is repealing the moderation. As far as everything else, eh. Whatever's most logical at the time.

I won't be back in the country for a few more days, I'm just posting now because I was so shocked and disgusted that I needed to. This is a serious run, by the way, so ask yer questions.

As stated before you cannot repeal the Moderation since it falls under the LA portfolio and not PAs. All you can do as PA is assign one person to be a moderator.

If your truly serious about running I hope your not going to just base your platform on something you have no control over.

1) What changes will you make if you become PA in regards to the OAS1 and 2. Do you think we need the OAS1? What can we do as OAS Dms and app reviewers to make getting in new players an easier task, but still using the degree of checks and balances we currently use.

2) PR and PA should work closely in hand. Since we are both trying to bring in new players and keep them here. Tell us some of your ideas in regards to the Application process. What changes need to be made to the Acceptance email and rejection email? What kind of things can we do to allow new players more access to information to get them started? What can we do to keep player retention?

3)Any changes you want to make to the player disipline system? Do you think it currently works well? Just curious about your thoughts here.

4) will you get planetouched in ALFA? A lot of folks want to play those type of characters but arent allowed to yet. What are your views and will you push for it to be allowed?

5) *borrowed from Paazin* If elected, what will be your main goal of the office - to see through a personal project, to be an effective administrator or fair adjudicator?

6)What can you do to show voters you can handle this positon? You speak your mind pretty bluntly (as do I) and we can rub folks the wrong way even when we mean well. What can you do to show voters your going to be a fair and approachable PA?

Thanks for your time. Look forward to your answers.

Sweet Zombie Jesus!

Will nuclear holocaust be a part of the platform?

Can you be convinced to join the BG team as DM?

edit: More seriously, when Fallout 3 comes out in fall can you devote time to this position?

There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Keep it on topic, folks: questions/suggestions/comments of policy to the candidate.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

All posts in this thread are on-topic as far as I am concerned, given my platform. This is not a matter of national security, it's a group to have fun together; having fun posting in a thread is part of that.

I'll figure that out when the time comes. At the moment, it is against the rules to discuss moderation unless you agree with it, so we can't talk about it like adults. The only way I see to do anything about it is to become an admin and work on it from the inside.

Even if I can't get rid of it whole cloth with a wave of an admin wand, the NKVD secret police shit, at the very least, will have to go. The fact that things had gotten to a point where people were willing to support fascism always means something is seriously wrong, but this is the worst possible way to address it, so something better will be done.

If necessary.

Who knows what wackiness may ensue! I won't contribute to a community that treats its members like this though, so until something is done (by me or anyone else) I'll have to decline.
ayergo wrote:edit: More seriously, when Fallout 3 comes out in fall can you devote time to this position?
In all seriousness, since I acquired a real life and other things to do, such as Fallout 3, I don't have a ton of time to dedicate to online Dungeons and Dragons. But I'll have enough, I've done it before and I remember what was needed. Plus I can foist things on minions.
