Vindication

I just want to publically acknowledge all those who maintained their faith in us getting NWN2 live, in particular those who publically supported us on these boards. The relief and excitement the DMs, builders and Tech staff feel is palpable now that we're hosting such a prodigous number of regular players, all of whom seem to be enjoying a stable server.
There have been glitches, some big, and there is combat lag. So obviously there's no end in sight for those who want to see an improved playing environment. But players have just been incredible in their support, in their feedback, in their patience and in their true reward to us, their patronage.
And the roleplaying? Well, I don't think I've seen anything like it before in 25 years of D&D. I don't doubt it's as good everywhere else, but nor do I care all that much (because I have nothing to do with anwhere else). It's not just good here. It's the best I've ever seen.

+1 to that. It's awesome to watch all of the plotlines unfold. Whats even better is that the majority of the plots are player driven. I'll do my best to keep up!

Apparently I'm not allowed to be one-eyed in my support of ALFA.
Go everyone else!
edit: I don't play anywhere else, I don't build anywhere else, I have nothing to do with anywhere else.I really, genuinely, don't care if it's good anywhere else too. That's the point. It's good here. Can people please stop sending me PMs about what they think I meant?

I think she meant to be aware that some people are still playing NWN, and roleplaying just as well as everyone else.

We seek your acknowledgment that no on, and absolutely NO ONE, has the right to say anything good about ALFA. When doing so, remember taht you are hanging yourself.

I'm talking about the support ALFA as a community has given us, ALFA as a whole community, and there's a question-mark over which community I'm praising?
I'm totally bewildered.

And despite what everyone keeps saying, ALFA in NWN1 is seriously rocking these days. And no, NWN1 won't die.
But yeah, ALFA2 is seriously seriously fun.

Good to hear you feel your efforts are worth it. I for one, certainly think they are. You builders have made a fantastic sandbox for us to play in!

I'm having fun, but damn... I don't see how people are leveling in two days.
Got to be bugs somewhere.

Let's just stick with "we're having a lot of fun and the rp is superb" and leave it at that.
Thanks Indio for all your awesomeness!

The first day of ALFA I played somewhere between 15-20 hours, AND (the most important part) I caught not one but TWO DM'd events - Indio's and Wynna's. That was how I did it. Since then, although I am playing like 30 hours a day (being a total TSM junkie now) my exp gain is much much slower as I am not hitting DMd events like that. So, you know, just got lucky with the DMd events that first day and half.

It is good to see previous admin setting the standard, ie, Reaching lvl 2 in a but a few days is NOT PGing. I never thought so myself and it is good to see it confirmed.
And yes, NWN1 is for losers.
