ALFA DMA Election

I've made up my mind on candidates, and I wanted to share this with everyone before the poll happens. What I think personally doesn't really matter, but as a member of the NWN2 team it's in my interests to draw conclusions about how we best develop as a community, and that's what I'm doing now. I spend a lot of time building, several hours of most days, and I want that time being used as well as it can by the admin team.
So it's not so much a question for you 3 candidates, but rather a question for the community, one that this election is going to answer.
Is it in ALFAs best interests to elect to admin a member who no longer has the support of at least half of the current admin team?
Logically I would support Rusty in this election. He's a good DMA, he's NWN2 savvy, and he's productive. We've been friendy with each other for 12 months since he started helping me get back on the rails. I do owe him gratidude in that regard.
But he's no longer the best choice for ALFA as DMA, in my opinon. I'm probably the least informed of all of us on the reasons behind Rusty's resignation and ensuing dispuation. And I really don't want to know. Instead I've read posts by the current admin team to draw this conclusion. We need an admin team, and it's clear to me now that Rusty is no longer part of that team, even were he to be re-elected.
