fyi if you guys need XP deducted due to playing prior to start of this campaign, I will not oppose (there's no rule against deducting XP).

Also, I am now having a gnome that is a druid so there is some healing covered and possibly some barkskinning after a few levels.
Heero just broke the campaign.
I'm planning on lvl 2 IF that; I think it'll be amusing to play a lvl 1 wizzie that acts haughty while casting his two spells and being done for the day, and looking at the group like "What? You want MORE goodies from me today?!!"

Re: New weekly global* campaign starting in October
With BB's change Sunday evening is looking to be the best time (or was as of yesterday; I don't have the WiG bookmark on my phone). Still waiting on times from a bunch of people.
Castano, I was just going to deduct limbs. XP works too I guess.
Oh, I'll need a short bio from everyone once we finalize the PC roster.
Limelight-stealers typically include scouts, faces, higher-level casters, and Anders. The later can't help it as they are just more awesome than everyone else.Rumple C wrote:Can play back up/supportive diplomacy as well. OOC I don't want to steal ALL the limelight.
Allegedly.

Re: New weekly global* campaign starting in October
limbs would be more fun. Does DnD have rules for the disabled?

He just hit 3 so I will stop playing him until we start.

Re: New weekly global* campaign starting in October
Looking like I will indeed be starting with a level 1 PC (thats a little under 500xp) since as far as I can tell no one is playing currently and logging in to power thru to level 2 in order to complete the concept is a real drag at this point.
Heero just pawn in game of life.

Re: New weekly global* campaign starting in October
I figure when I am ready, I will also do a fresh level 1. Campaign play, advancing in campaign type thing. That's part of the appeal of this scene, fresh with no history, the history being from the moment of "you meet in a tavern and a spooky old man gives you a funny look, a drugged drink and a mission..."

I just rolled up my new PC (haven't even left the start area yet). Unless OGR punks out on me we will be playing with a pair of dwarves from Clan Blackhammer.

Re: New weekly global* campaign starting in October
How many players should apply?
Did we pass the quata?
Should we just let netural selection decide who stays in?

Re: New weekly global* campaign starting in October
I say everyone logs in with their fresh lvl 1 PCs, and we have a grande melee free for all; the 6 or 7 that survive get in.
j/k! My lvl 1 wizzie most likely would be the first to die.

Well if you haven't left any start areas, keep enjoying current PCs. There's a long time between now and "whenever things get rolling in October," even assuming time zones and play days work out!

clicked in my prefered starting times.
i'm considering joining with my wee little ms hin bard, she's lvl 4 and not that awesome, but - if she's to awesome, or if our hintroupe doesnt pick itself up after the long haitus, i'll consider rolling up something fresh. if timezoneplaning and gametime etc works out ofcourse
