Why not just get rid of the A Game then? Seems the majority of registered members couldn't give a sh** about the A Game.

But sure as hell everyone wants to be apart of the B game. And thus the A game is nearly extinct while other servers of NWN2 are still running 99+ players, even some permadeath ones.

Have I quit playing? depends on what you define as playing... I log on, do a static with my level 2 hin, get bored waiting for anything else to happen, log off....repeat two or so weeks later.

Id like to know what you think can help fix this. You are right, it can often be this way and it aint fun.

CD is jaded by the status quo and angry about it. Getting pissy with her about it won't help matters, and neither will pretending that a lot of people leave this place once they actually come here, new or old alike.

Nor do forum rants solve the problem.

The fact of the matter is, take a moment to consider why someone who "doesn't play in the game at all" would get voted in over another candidate.

You can go the route of "we keep the same people in power, its a conspiracy, Game B, etc." route, or you can stop and look at the other candidate that they might not be trusted or fit the criteria to fulfill that role outside of applying.

We have these candidates, because they self nominated. We will have whomever is voted to be most competent into the role. Deal with it.

Commonly, the politics and board shenanigans of ALFA are referred to as "game B". Thus, "game A" is our actual game - you know, logging into the servers and playing / DMing. Crazy stuff.
