Play new D&D classes such as the Red Wizard of Thay, spirit shaman, and invisible blade.
I know nothing about any of those! Anyone want to enlighten?
" Invisible blades are not the kind of people you want to underestimate, but if you do, they certainly won't object. Brandish a rapier, and they will whip out a dagger. Unsheathe a longsword, and they will throw off their armor. Wield a greatsword, and they will smile at you. A big maniacal grin. Rest assured, the members of this prestige class do not have a death wish. Its just that they aren't really impressed by how "mighty" their opponents appear. Quite the opposite. They relish any chance to demonstrate how the most unimposing weapons can also be the most lethal. Perhaps their opponents will live long enough to tell the tale." Click!

I'm sure you know about the Red Wizard of Thay. Basically, it makes your wizard a mean killing machine that is nigh unstoppable. The Spirit Shaman is to a Druid like a Sorcerer is to a Wizard: don't need to memorize spells and you have more spells/day, but you know less spells and learn them slower than druids. From an IC viewpoint, Spirit Shamans don't have much in common with druids as far as I remember; they draw their power from spirits of the land and are often faithless.

Edit: I remember reading an interview where they reveal that the home-brewed Prestige Class is the dumbed down Archmage, Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep. They also are bringing Sacred Fist into the expansion pack.

7. Toolset Goodness- I got a chance to see Nate show off the toolset. He was showing some new interior tilesets, plus nifty stuff you can now do with all tiles and such. You can now change the textures of floors and walls. You can take an interior tile and choose from a long list of texture types; give it a wood floor01 or a stone floor04, etc. Tons were listed. Same with walls. And they are tintable. If I understood correctly, he said that most objects are now more tintable than before as well.
w00t!!
