Problem with forum password

Post by CloudDancing »

So since the switch I let my browser log into the forums for me.

Whenever I clear my cache I have to reset everything.

So far the last four times I had to reset my password. I set it to the same password I have always used for this site.

And my password thingy on my browser memorizes it, but when I enter it in after logging out, it does not recognize the autofill or when I just type it in by hand.

Any thoughts? I'm tired of resetting my password every time I want to log in.

First question, how often do you clear you cache? Really has nothing to do with anything I just clear mine once in a blue moon so I am curious why you seem to do it more often.

But actual suggestion. First, I don't know what web browser you are using, but, there should be a way when you clear your things to "Save passwords" Or, in chrome, which I am using, when I ask it to clear browsing data there is a box that says "Passwords" that I have unchecked so it dosn't clear them.

Now I don't know why it would make you reset every time. But my thought is maybe if it is not cleared it wont have to reset? Hope that helps maybe.

You should use http://www.alandfaraway.info/

The cookies are set to this domain now and cannot work if you keep using the .org domain name.

Try to change your bookmark and try again.

If you still have this problem then I'm wrong and we will have to search for something else.
