So, for the moment, it seems that we've got some slowness in the database interactions that power our portaling. We've got a fix cooking, but until it's tested and rolled out, seamless portals won't work.
To get your portaling done in the mean time, use the portals like you would before-- the first attempt is going to fail. Wait a minute and try again, and watch the messages in your server window. When you see one of them that says "Pass found, Data: <something; varies by the portal>", then log out of your current server and log into the target one, just like we made you do back in 2010. The seamless portal will (probably) time out if you wait, so we're on manual ones until that's cleaned up.
