You can earn from $5.00 to $20.00 per static, ALFA wide. This funding pool will be separate from our current donation fund and will be added to each month for the time being, depending on how productive this turns out to be.
This is the way it will work.
For now we will create a separate thread where HDMs can post specific or general requests, as well as a place where anyone can present a general offer to create a static. If you feel you can help a given HDM with their request, send them your proposal, and if you are posting an offer to create, the HDM should reach out to you. If the proposal is approved by the HDM and myself, you can then create an erf which you can then send to the HDM. Once the static is placed into the server, the creator of the static will receive their payment through paypal.
The amount of compensation will depend on the complexity of the static, and/or the complexity of putting it together.
Trivial quests/ quest conversions: $5.00 per quest
Ex, go fetch this or that and bring it back to me, or cutting and pasting an already existing quest from BG to MS.
Basic Quest: $10.00 per quest
Ex, go kill this baddie and bring me its head, go scout the secret goblin camp and report back to me.
Advanced Quest/custom: $15.00-$20.00 per quest
Ex, multiple steps required in the quest,different ways or paths on completing the steps based on skills of various PCs, completion may affect standing with npc factions.

After checking, I have 1-5 coders and 1-2 writers who is willing to work on this.
EDIT: Removed "Will ALFA be able to afford it if I industrialize static quest building?" after actually reading that this is based on HDM requests alone and not individual enthusiasm/creativity.

Right, HDM's ....and myself must approve the proposal, and generally it will follow from the request or needs of the various HDMs and their servers. On the other hand, anyone can go ahead and post their willingness to offer their "services." Then the HDM can contact them and work something out.
I want these quests to actually be good and contribute to the ALFA experience. Not a million variations of "go find a toothpick so I can clean my teeth"
