Dhaerow invade Neverwinter.

Post by maxcell »

With the release of Neverwinter online (yes it is an mmorpg, get over it) first expansion module, The Fury of the Feywild, some new races have now become playable, including sun elves, moon elves (special), and the dreaded yet loved DROW.

There are special races offered only to those who spend rl money, but forget all that noise, free-to-play all the way to the end game is the way to go.

here is the promo for fury module, http://youtu.be/eNlZRiU841c

Did your girlfriend break up with you or something, Jern? You seem extra stupid lately.

I'd seriously rather read about that than have another thread about a D&D-mockingly-themed WoW.

Then go and do that.

Anyhow, since there are actually people with more than one singular interest, there is more than one type of table top game, there is more than one genre of video game, and there are more than one player per server, (oops how did that slip in?)

I thought that upon this release every other character would be drow, off erping in the corner, but thankfully that isnt true. I will spend alot more time with it when they add ranger and warlock class in the near future, but eh, it is what it is and something that runs on my laptop so I can be in the same room with the Mrs.

Maxcell, get your butt back ingame soon; rumors are that Lou and Puny will be tag team DMing on TSM in the near future. :)

Tempted to go do some hack n slashing with you on the mmorpg a bit (a bit more free time this week), but massive downloads... eh.

I got my cleric up to level 13 on Neverwinter this morning. I'd be willing to roll a new level 1 PC if someone else wanted to play with me. Can't remember which server I'm on, I want to say Mindflayer.

I played it for a couple of days, but the lack of an open world really grated on me. Everything felt like it existed in a bubble which was...not really the style I enjoy.
