A Green Dragon

With the present looming threat of the Green Dragon still threatening Gullykin and the pass northward to Beregost, a Druid traveler but known common enough help in the area has informed the Gullykin Militia that he has bargained its recent present threat away admittedly... for the time being...
The day where the Merchant lost his pony and cargo, the traveler who spoke to the beast, was accompanied by an Elven woman and Human man.
This traveler has also asked for the hinfolk of Gullykin to stay perpared but to please do not seek out to destroy the beast... his begs falling quickly to "short" tempered, and justified anger and opposition regarding the request... most of the gathering assumedly seemingly losing their faith in the traveler even after witnessing or hearing of several deeds he has done to keep the safety of Gullykin intact over many years.
The traveler was also witnessed, in his failing to convince the townsfolk of his request to sadly head back north, to quite some jeering and even insult.
Under defensive dialogue, the Druid leaves after repeatedly explaining he is no friend to the great beast, but he seeks to compromise with it soon to cause no more threat along the pass. It is not full grown by any stretch, and has already shown at least some reasonability....

((assumed that Beregost would hear of these rumours very soon))
