Citadel Felbarr News

*Word spreads within the Citadel of a small group under the leadership of Bozwell the Dragonheart heading down into the lost ruins of Old Delzoun. Some say it is at the behest of the King, while others say it is for some matter related to a temple. The most common gossip is that the group is likely to run afoul of the latest threat from below, dwarves from clan Duergar are rumored to be spoiling for a fight and looting the lost ruins themselves. So far, Felbarr has only sent out scouting parties, with a general call to arms conspicuously absent.*

Smoke can be seen for miles, rising from the Flying Griffon inn. Coming closer, travellers report that the bodies of Uthgardt warriors are stacked like kindling for that fire, which appears to have been limited to the grounds and one outbuilding. Questioning a guard having his arm wrapped by a cleric elicits a snarl:

"Fookin' Uthgardt. Sky Pony, whatever the hells that means. All look alike on the end o' me sword, don't they? The raid musta happened not an hour after that high muckety-muck dwarf-friend fella outta Sundabar passed by. Too bad he and all his dwarf warriors don't seem interested in lowland troubles, only their big fancy doins' in the Gem, whatever the hells they be doing out from behind them Sundabar walls. Coulda used a few dozen more axes when the savages came callin'."
Enjoy the game
