The Missing Girls

Post by orangetree »

((I think it best to centralise efforts towards this plot, so please feel free to add))

In High Hold, an unknown halfling, regarded the bandit with abject pity, and more so... just a touch of anger. Not just at what he had done, but at what he was forcing her to be. It was all to find the girls, she rationed. Bill's daughers, lost somewhere. He would not talk, yet Jace had managed the impossible- an audience, and a chance to speak to him. Jace quickly identified the man as one of the bandits... but now he had to be made to speak.

Of course, he yearned for freedom, and such was simply not within the groups power.

After some time with him, and with not a cell door even forced open, the man was apparently willing to co-operate now.

"He will speak to you," she said to the priest. "He will tell you where the girls are."

If asked how they managed it, the halfling is oddly silent on the matter. "I must go pray now... for the protection of the girls. Please... find them."

With that she departed to silverymoon, with the aide of Abel.

the unknown halfling stays at the golden oak, asking adventures if there has been any news of the girls.

"Every second makes it less likely we will find them"

With the lack of responses, the unknown halfling can only assume the worse. She looks a little glumly, as she decides to move on. She never even knew the name of Bill's daughters, only that they were more then likely dead (or worse), and that there was nothing anyone could do.

She recites her prayers to Sune, Asking Bill's forgiveness for their failure. "It just... wasn't meant to be."
